About

Our History

Studio 22 was founded in Lustenau by Fritz and Kurt Hagen in 1973. Fritz – the creative head of the company sadly passed far too early in 1984. Despite this, Kurt Hagen continued running the company with other carefully selected photographers until in 1997 Marcel Hagen, the nephew of Fritz, took control of the company. Under his management, Studio 22 has evolved into a modern and creative hub for visual realisation for B2B customers and advertising agencies

Our Philosophy

In the long history of taking and developing photographs, new techniques and styles have of course replaced older ones, but the main essential remained – the skilled photographer, who can bring those special moments to life, capturing the fond memories and the treasured feelings. The ultimate skills to seize this perfect moment can only be obtained using the passion, professionalism and empathy the experience gives. Bringing together a perfectly subtle mix of the classic skills combined with the modern technology, ensures the clients’ specific requests are met. This is now fundamental for the company’s daily routines.
